Dwell on Design convention 2010

Reclaimed Space was chosen to build the Dwell showhouse, designed and decorated by Ecofabulous.  This year’s house sold complete with all Electrolux appliances for $66,100.  Profits were donated to Global Green. The show this year pulled a crowd which formed quite a line to get into the showhouse.  Of course, they were serving chocolate covered strawberries.

Reclaimed Space was honored by the Environmental Protection Agency to receive an award in the Lifecycle Building Challenge.   Participants showed building methods that allowed for material reuse.  The award was given at West Coast Green in San Francisco, California.

DWELL ON DESIGN Converntion in Los Angeles, California, June 2009.  The unit was constructed, then shipped to LA.  After many roadblocks, it finally arrived.  It was an incredible show; auctioning the item which sold for $75,000.  We were able to donate $10,000 to Habitat for Humanity.

Green Living Fair 2009 in Austin, Texas.  We took our first model and won “Best of Show”!
