We were showing the house to a prospective buyer today (he wants to use his Reclaimed Space as an artist studio–great idea!) and I was describing our green features when I paused. And it occurred to me that these homes aren’t green retrofits, they don’t simply have green features. Everything about our homes are green. We’re not trying to lessen our negative impact, we’re celebrating our positive impact.

To us at Reclaimed Space, it’s not enough that our homes be efficient, that they don’t pollute. Because our standard is higher than simply not harming the environment. Our standard is for each Reclaimed Space home and, in fact, our entire manufacturing process, to be of value to the environment, to the community and, most of all, to the families that call a Reclaimed Space home.
